North Yorkshire Police say roads in Scarborough town centre have now reopened following an earlier incident.
Police were called to an incident at the Brunswick Centre in Scarborough just after 11am this morning.
It followed reports that two people were on the roof.
A cordon was put in place, and surrounding roads were closed for some time to allow emergency services, including a police negotiator, to respond.
Officers say that the incident has now been brought to a safe conclusion. The cordons have been lifted and roads were reopened at around 4:30pm
Two teenagers have been arrested in connection with the incident and have been taken to hospital for treatment.
The Police have thanked the public for their patience whilst they dealt with the incident
