A men's shed group in Scarborough have been using their skills to create a new permanent base for the group.
Scarborough Mates say they want to provide centre that is open to all to help tackle social isolation in the town.
Chairman, Ian Hale, says they have spent the summer refurbishing their new premises on Londesborough Business Park.
Ian says Mates aims to reduce social isolation, and build a strong community through shared practical activities and sharing of skills. He says the group offers members opportunities to learn a new skill, in a safe and friendly environment, make new friends, have fun.
The groups new building is Unit 8 of the Londesborough Business Park.
There is more information about the group on their website at https://scarboroughmates.org.uk/
