Scarborough Athletic, Whitby Town and Bridlington Town were all in action on Saturday with each picking up a different result.
Boro are now level on points with third-placed Matlock Town after a 2-1 victory at Atherton Colleries.
The Seadogs' debutant striker Will Jarvis, signed on loan from Hull City, broke the deadlock, with 20 minutes remaining. The Lancashire side then levelled, only for Jake Day to fire home what proved to be the visitors' winner, eight minutes from time.
Boro boss Jono Greening spoke to Scarborough Athletic TV post-match:

Whitby Town are sixth, but now sit just two points from fifth-placed Warrington Town. That's after the Cheshire side lost 3-1 at home to resurgent Ashton United and the Blues held NPL Premier leaders Buxton, at the Towbar Express Stadium.
Although the scores finished goal-less, Whitby had the better of the game and should have won it after Jake Hackett fired a 26th-minute penalty over the crossbar.
Speaking to Whitby Town TV after the game, joint-manager Nathan Haslam was disappointed Town couldn't pick up all three points:
Bridlington Town continue to struggle in NPL East after two second half goals conceded at relegation rivals Frickley Athletic.
The 2-0 defeat keeps Brid fourth from bottom though they do have games in hand on some sides below them in the table.
