Fire officers assisted a stricken man on North Street in Scarborough on Friday evening.
North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue assisted the man who'd collapsed in the street around 7.45pm on Friday.
Members of the public alerted officers who provided first aid until an ambulance arrived.
Firefighters then helped transfer the casualty into the ambulance and left him in the hands of paramedics.
