Scarborough's Christmas plans are revealed with town having its own ice rink again this year.
Scarborough Borough Council say the rink will It return to North Street – just off Westborough - from 9 December to 3 January, and they are promising that
"this Christmas the whole festive experience in Scarborough is going to be even better."
The town's Christmas lights are also going to have a fresh look when they are turned on from November 18th.
In the town centre, there will be activities with a festive theme on the first three weekends of December including music and entertainment, creative arts and panto stars.
The council say the North Street Ice Rink is being enhanced this year, they say there will be:
"A 14 x 14 metre teepee next to the rink will feature a bar and a roaring fire, perfect for mums and dads (or other family members) to relax while waiting for children to have fun.
There will also be stalls and attractions including gifts, German sausages, craft chocolates, gin, a children’s carousel and an organ.
The whole area will be made more Christmassy with special lighting."
