The village of Grosmont will be alive with the sound of Gospel singing today.
St Matthew's church are holding a Gospel Singing workshop with conductor Hannah Brine who has previously directed choirs for Strictly Come Dancing, the Royal Variety show and the Proms.
Hannah says the event is about getting local people singing together.
The free gospel singing workshop is for anyone interesting in singing uplifting soulful and gospel/gospel inspired songs, and no previous experience is needed.
Hannah Brine, who will be leading the event, has a wealth of experience creating gospel choirs.
Hannah says today's event will see the group perform a range of songs.
