Whitby Town lost a 2-0 lead in the North West as their patchy form continued on Saturday.
Preston side Bamber Bridge roared back after Whitby raced into a 2-0 advantage in the first half.
Joe Wheatley and the in-form Max Howells gave the Seasiders a comfortable lead.
However, the hosts hit back on the stroke of half-time and then turned things round after the break.
