Filey MP - Kevin Hollinrake - says he is in no doubt Sub Postmasters have been lied to about the Post office Horizon scandal.
Speaking in the commons in his role as Secretary of State for Business and Trade, the MP said the ITV dramatization of the story clearly showed that false statements were made to the sub postmasters when they called the post office helpline.
Filey's MP is calling for the Post Office Horizon inquiry to look at what role Fujitsu played in the scandal, which has left hundreds of sub postmasters out of pocket or with criminal convictions.
Speaking in his role as Business Secretary, Kevin Hollinrake said Fujitsu's access to the post office computer systems needs to be investigated.
The ITV show - Mr Bates vs The Post Office - is based on the more than 700 branch managers wrongfully convicted of false accounting due to faulty IT software.
