Photocopies have been left on cars in the town.
Humberside Police say they have had a number of reports of fake parking tickets being placed on vehicles in Bridlington.
The force say the photocopied parking tickets consist of a single sheet of paper and are not real.
Officers say they have a description of a man thought to have been placing the tickets.
