It's at the North Yorkshire Water Park from 10am until around 4pm.
There are 20 boats taking part and hopes are high that last year's charity fundraising total of over £20,000 can be challenged.
Charter Mayor Janet Jefferson opens proceedings and teams race in heats. There's normally two or three teams in each of the heats and then it culminates in a final at the end of the day.
Mike Wilkinson is from The Rotary Club of Scarborough, one of the charities to benefit.
