There have been further increases in the number of cases in the Borough but Ryedale has seen a slight fall in the infection rate.
The seven day COVID infection rate in the Scarborough Borough has risen further.

The Borough has a seven day rate of 392 cases for every 100,000 people up from 375 yesterday.
The county average is 399, the all England average is 608.
Ryedale has seen a slight fall in the rate from 320 yesterday to 314 today.

Whitby West along with Eastfield, Crossgates & Seamer continue to have the largest number of new cases in the Borough.
