The RNLI's All Weather Boat was called out yesterday to a vessel near Ravenscar.
Scarborough’s all weather lifeboat and it’s volunteer crew were back in action yesterday to assist a vessel in distress.
The call came in for a 24ft angling boat that had broken down just south of Ravenscar.

The vessel had managed to drop an anchor but was only 100ft from the rocky cliffs.
After a short passage by the lifeboat a tow was established and the vessel taken to Scarborough harbour.
