A motorcyclist was assisted by North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue after a collision outside Scarborough Fire Station.
The incident happened around 8pm on North Marine Road on Saturday night.
Officers from Scarborough assisted when a motorcyclist and van collided.
Firefighters gave first aid to the stricken biker until the arrival of an ambulance.
The injured man was then was taken to hospital with arm injuries.
