Police in Scarborough are appealing for witnesses and information about an assault which left a woman shaken and upset.
It happened on part of the cinder track between St Leonards Crescent and Northstead School just after 4pm on Tuesday 16 May 2023 and involved a woman in her fifties, who was hit on the back of the head, and two boys aged 12-14 years who were riding an electric scooter.
Officers say:
"We're requesting your help to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
We'd like to hear from anyone who was walking on the cinder track at the time of the incident who may have witnessed the incident or have information that could assist with our investigation.
