Callers report road closed signs and impassable driving conditions near Cloughton this morning.
The Yorkshire Coast is under a Yellow Weather Warning for SNOW with 1-3cm of snow possible, especially on high ground.
This caller to Paddy @ Breakfast told us how bad conditions were just north of Cloughton:
Snow is also now settling at lower levels, including in Scarborough as showers continue along the coast.
The A171 between Whitby and Guisborough is reported to be treacherous in many places with traffic crawling along in difficult conditions.
Overnight, the A169 between Whitby and Pickering has also been closed. Here's the Hole Of Horcum webcam from 8:25am:

The A169 is currently closed at White Way Heads / Saltergate Moor near to RAF Fylingdales because of snow and ice.
