The A64 Seamer Road is very busy heading into Scarborough as traffic finds another way into town.
Callers to This Is The Coast reported an accident had closed the A170 near Pinewood Park.
Stoney Haggs was backing up as a result, along with Seamer Road heading into Scarborough.
Stepney Road was also extremely busy as traffic was forced back towards Scarborough.
Roads seem to be gradually improving in the area.
