The latest figures include some of the over 45's who were called up for vaccines this week.
Amanda Bloor says there are still a number of eligible people across the county who have yet to come forward.
Figures from the NHS and Public Health England show that 67,285 people have now had the jab out of an estimated population in the borough of 97,555 residents over the age of 16. That puts the total at 69%.
The data also shows that less than 500 people received their first dose of coronavirus vaccine in the latest round of immunisations.
In the seven days up to April 20 a further 441 people got at least one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine in the borough.
It is a slight drop on the previous week when 508 people got the jab and down from a peak of more than 10,000 in one seven day period in March.
