Woman Suffers Serious Injuries in Whitby Collision

Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision involving a 76 year old pedestrian.

North Yorkshire Police say the incident occurred at around 6.25pm on Friday evening, 25 November 2022.

A collision occurred between a pedestrian and a Lexus saloon car on Mayfield Road in Whitby.

The pedestrian, a 76 year-old woman, suffered serious injuries in the incident and was taken to hospital for treatment.

Officers say:

"We’re asking for your help to establish the full circumstances surrounding the collision so if you saw it happen or have dashcam footage which could assist our investigation, please email: huw.walkey@northyorkshire.police.uk or call 101, select option 2 and ask for TC 1786 Walkey. "
