Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision involving a 76 year old pedestrian.
North Yorkshire Police say the incident occurred at around 6.25pm on Friday evening, 25 November 2022.
A collision occurred between a pedestrian and a Lexus saloon car on Mayfield Road in Whitby.
The pedestrian, a 76 year-old woman, suffered serious injuries in the incident and was taken to hospital for treatment.
