Firefighters rescued a woman from a single vehicle road collision in Sherburn late on Friday night.
Fire crews from Sherburn and Scarborough responded to a report of a single vehicle accident, just after 11.30pm.
On arrival, officers found one vehicle in a ditch with the female occupant trapped.
The driver was assessed by a paramedic before crews removed the passenger front door of the vehicle to release the woman from the car.
