The festive event at Sewerby Hall has been called off due to the COVID situation.
General manager Marie Gascoigne said: “It is with great sadness that we have to announce that our Winter Woodland event has been cancelled.
“The rising infection rates in the region and the current restrictions in place mean it would be impossible to run this event and keep our customers and staff safe.
“We are extremely disappointed that, what would have been a magical event leading up to Christmas has had to be cancelled, despite our team's best efforts to keep it alive.
“But the good news is that our Winter Woodland event will take place in 2021, and we are giving our loyal customers the opportunity to be first in the queue for tickets to this event when it goes on sale.”
All current ticket holders have two options, which have been communicated to them via email – all are advised to check their inbox.
Marie Gascoigne added :
“We are looking forward to creating a brilliant event in 2021, and I hope that many of our customers will want to roll over their bookings for the new event.”
