Whitby lost 2-1 at home to Bamber Bridge, despite Nathan Thomas giving them an early lead, at the Towbar Express Stadium.
The Seasiders thumped Matlock 5-1 in Derbyshire, the last time the two sides met, in March, with Thomas netting twice.
