Whitby Town Target New Year in the Play Off Places

The Seasiders kick off 2024 with a home clash against Ilkeston on New Year's Day, after passing a pitch inspection.

The Blues are looking to complete a double over the Derbyshire side after beating them away on August Bank Holiday weekend.

They'll be without suspended striker Junior Mondal, who was sent off at Morpeth on Boxing Day.

Skipper Danny Rowe told Whitby Town TV he's hoping Town can continue their fine recent run of three wins out of four to end 2023:

It was a momentous year for the Seasiders, who reached the FA Cup First Round Proper for the first time in 20 years.

Manager Nathan Haslam summed up the last 12 months to Whitby Town TV:

The match passed an early morning inspection at 8.45am, kick-off is 3.00pm.
