Whitby Town face promotion-chasing Curzon Ashton at the Towbar Express Stadium this Saturday, as the Blues look to secure their second home victory of the season.
A crucial home victory is the target for Whitby Town this Saturday as they prepare to host promotion-chasing Curzon Ashton at the Towbar Express Stadium.
The Blues are currently searching for only their second home win of the current season. A victory this weekend would also mark a significant milestone as the first home triumph under the management of Graeme Lee.
The team faces a tough challenge against a strong Curzon Ashton side, but the focus remains firmly on developing the squad, building momentum, and maintaining a strong work ethic on the pitch.
Lee told Whitby Town TV:
"We know the team's playing in this league and we have to concentrate on those at this moment in time. It's a building process for us to try and get ourselves into shape and understanding it, but the work ethic the lads are showing from front to back, [Oli] Swan he's come in for two games and been fantastic. So, it's pleasing all over the pitch, what we're seeing. It's just now getting that belief into them. Keep the discipline and work for it."
You can hear more from Lee, as well as Marley Grant and Mikey Hodgson on the latest edition of The Codcast.
Kick off at the Towbar Express Stadium on Saturday is 3pm.
