Whitby Town Look to Build on Stunning Six-Goal Victory in Bank Holiday Clash

Whitby Town will host Alfreton this Bank Holiday Monday following a sensational six-three victory over Quorn that saw Callum Hickman score four goals.

A Bank Holiday Monday fixture awaits Whitby Town as they prepare to host Alfreton in the Northern Premier League Premier Division.

The three o'clock kick-off will see the Derbyshire visitors arrive on the Yorkshire Coast to face a home side brimming with confidence.

Momentum sits firmly with Whitby following a stunning weekend performance that saw them secure a dominant six-three demolition of Quorn on Saturday.

Goalscoring form will be a key focus for the afternoon, with standout striker Callum Hickman looking to kick on and add to his growing tally.

The forward proved instrumental in the weekend's high-scoring victory, hitting the back of the net four times to ensure a comprehensive win for his side.

The recent triumph has provided a much-needed boost for the squad, relieving tension after previous challenging results.

Hickman told Whitby Town TV he's enjoying his partnership with ex-Boro Rangers teammate Stuart Rose:

"Yeah, I'm playing well with Stu. So I say I played for the Rangers and I was a linked up perfectly and playing off them. And things just working well. It gets chemistries just there. You know what I mean. So, yeah, it was it was it relieve the lot of pressure. And obviously we all know the terrible result. And it does put pressure on you. You've seen some of the outside. All fans give us grief but I think that's the bounce back needed. Hopefully going to Monday get a win again at home give them something to cheer about and. Yeah just massive, isn't it? Just want to bounce back."
