Whitby Town joint manager Lee Bullock is urging fans to back the team at the Towbar Express Stadium this Good Friday as they prepare to take on title-chasing FC United of Manchester in the NPL Premier Division.
Whitby Town are gearing up for a crucial Northern Premier League Premier Division fixture this Good Friday as they prepare to host second-placed title-chasers FC United of Manchester.
Joint manager Lee Bullock has issued a rallying cry to the local supporters, acknowledging the team's recent struggles at home but emphasising the importance and excitement of the upcoming clash against a top-tier opponent.
Bullock believes that if his squad can replicate their first half display at Warrington Town, last weekend, they have a strong chance of securing a positive result against the high-flying visitors.

He said:
"If the lads go out and give it for the 90 minutes or anything near that first 45, we'll be looking to beat FC United and they'll be looking to beat us, but it'll be a good honest non-league game. We need some decent home form and I know it's... we haven't given much at all, but come along and what a good game to come watch and if we can get them beat, probably almost where we need to be."
The Good Friday fixture presents a significant test for Whitby Town, but a victory over the title contenders would provide a major boost for the club as they look to finish their campaign strongly.
Whitby have centre-back Finley Holcroft and attacking midfielder Charlie Dinsdale available to debut, here's their fellow Sunderland loanee Elias Lenz:
" Oh I'm really confident about these guys, they're a bit younger than me but still, like, a lot of confidence, these guys.
"A really good defender. I'm sure he will fit in. And then a winger, a 10, I would say, really good one-on-one, something we need to create chances and score goals. Yeah. We trained well on Thursday, and I think if we can kick on from this, we can really win this and yeah."
