Whitby Town will kick off their new Northern Premier League Premier Division campaign with a trip to Leek Town, followed by a packed August schedule and a Boxing Day derby against Redcar Athletic.
Whitby Town will begin their 2026/27 Northern Premier League Premier Division campaign with a trip to Leek Town, after the league officially unveiled its fixtures for the new season.
The Seasiders are facing a challenging opening month to the new campaign, with a total of six league matches scheduled to be played before the end of August.
Following their opening day trip to Leek Town, Whitby's first home fixture of the season arrives on Tuesday, August 11, when Guiseley visit the Towbar Express Stadium.
This early home game kicks off a busy start to the campaign, which will also see meetings with Ilkeston Town, Warrington Town, Cleethorpes Town, and Quorn rounding off the opening weeks.
The busy August schedule concludes with the return of Bank Holiday Monday football to Whitby on August 31. Former National League North side Alfreton Town will make the journey to the North Yorkshire coast for the occasion, with the reverse fixture scheduled for January 2.
Supporters of the Seasiders will also be looking forward to several notable fixtures throughout the season, particularly clashes with big-name clubs such as Bury and FC United of Manchester.
Whitby's first encounter with Bury comes away from home just before Christmas on December 19, before the Shakers make the return trip to visit the Towbar Express Stadium on April 3.
Meanwhile, FC United of Manchester will host the Seasiders on October 3, with the return fixture in Whitby set to take place in the new year on February 6.
The festive schedule offers a particularly attractive fixture for fans on the Yorkshire Coast, as local rivals Redcar Athletic visit Whitby on Boxing Day. The reverse meeting at Redcar's Hollou Sports Stadium is set for Easter Monday, ensuring two highly anticipated holiday derbies.
In addition to the Redcar derby, Whitby also face fellow North East side Stockton Town on October 31 and April 10.
Further afield, meetings with Workington are scheduled for October 13 in Cumbria, before Workington travel to Whitby on February 20.
Newly-promoted Emley provide another intriguing addition to the fixture list for the upcoming season. The West Yorkshire club will host Whitby on November 7 before travelling to the Towbar Express Stadium for the final match of the season on April 17.
The league has noted that, as ever, the fixture list remains subject to change throughout the year because of cup commitments and potential postponements. However, supporters can now begin making their plans for another season of football in the Northern Premier League Premier Division.
