Multiple emergency services assisted an individual trapped after a car crash in the Egton area.
It happened just after 11pm on Friday night.
North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue say firefighters from Whitby, Danby and Goathland, along with an officer, attended with Police and Ambulance, a single vehicle road traffic collision.
One casualty was trapped under the vehicle. Fire and Rescue crews worked to stabilise the vehicle.
Firefighters then provided further assistance to ambulance paramedics and carried out scene safety with the incident left with Police and Ambulance services.
