A man who is walking around the entire UK Coastline to raise money for Children with Cancer UK is on the Yorkshire Coast today.
Sean Grand was in Filey overnight and is heading north today.
He set off from Norfolk in April
Sean Says the support from the public has been first rate
Children with Cancer UK works to improve survival rates across all types of childhood cancer and support children and their families to live better with and after treatment.
In 2019, they raised £17.3 million to fund specialist childhood cancer research and to support families affected by childhood cancer but the charity says they lost 40% of their funding in 2020 due to the pandemic.
Sean says wants to raise as much money as he can for the cause but says he doesn't know how long the challenge is going to take.
Sean has raised over £1000 so far from his epic trek and has now launched a Just Giving page to help raise funds which can be found here https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/sean-grand2
