By elections have been called for the vacancies in the Stakesby and West Cliff wards on Whitby Town Council.
Prospective candidates may apply to North Yorkshire Council's Returning Officer to complete the necessary paperwork.
If more than one valid candidate is nominated in these wards, any election would be held on 20 June.
Nomination papers must be delivered BY HAND to the Returning Officer at North Yorkshire Council, Town Hall, St Nicholas Street, Scarborough, North Yorkshire, YO11 2HG no later than 4pm on Thursday 23 May 2024.
Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 12 midnight on Tuesday 4 June 2024. Applications can be made online www.gov.uk/register-to-vote
Applications for a Voter Authority Certificate or an Anonymous Elector's Document valid for this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Wednesday, 12 June 2024.
