North Yorkshire Police have arrested two people and seized drugs and cash following the execution of two warrants at separate addresses in Filey.
Officers from the Filey Neighbourhood Policing Team and Response units at North Yorkshire Police have executed two drug warrants at separate addresses in the town.
The operation resulted in two arrests being made, alongside the seizure of a quantity of drugs and cash.
Police have confirmed that an investigation into the incidents is currently ongoing.
The raids were timed to coincide with the beginning of a dedicated week of action for local policing teams.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said:
"A great start to Neighbourhood Policing Week. The activity forms part of our ongoing work to tackle drug-related crime and protect our communities from the harm it causes."
The force highlighted the importance of community intelligence in carrying out these warrants and successfully seizing the illicit substances and cash.
The North Yorkshire Police spokesperson added:
