Special Half Term Events at North York Moors Park Features Stargazing

There are a number of events taking place across half-term at the North York Moors National Park.

Tourism businesses in the North York Moors National Park say business has remained relatively strong since the end of the summer season.

Half-term week is seeing a number of events taking place at local attractions including the Dark Skies Festival.

Stargazers from across the north are expected to visit the North York Moors this week for the festival.

The national park say the festival helps to extend the tourism season.

Amateur Astronomer Richard Darn says the park is an excellent location for the event:
