A Scarborough women has replaced her advent calendar with an altogether more challenging Christmas Countdown.
A Scarborough woman is combining the countdown to Christmas with a charity fundraiser for Cancer Research.
Anne Hunter has signed up for a rather chilly challenge involving the North sea and a wig.
Anne is taking part in the 12 Dips of Christmas which sees her taking a dip in the North Sea each day to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
Anne says she has a very personal reason for taking part.
People around the UK are taking part in the Twelve Dips of Christmas fundraising campaign which has so far raised over £261,000.
There are more details about Anne's fundraising efforts on her Cancer Research Giving page at https://fundraise.cancerresearchuk.org/page/annes-giving-page-936
