The success of Scarborough Sparkle at the weekend could mean changes for next year.
Organisers of Scarborough Sparkle say next year's event may be open longer and have suggested there could be a spin off event in the spring.
The Christmas market and fair took place at the Open Air Theatre at the weekend.
Stuart Clark is head of venues and attractions for North Yorkshire Council, he was delighted with the way the event went.
Stuart says he felt the atmosphere at this weekend's event was first rate.
