Work at Stoney Haggs Road has been hampered by the conditions.
North Yorkshire County Council say the roadworks at the Stoney Haggs Road junction in Seamer have been delayed due to poor weather conditions.
The old surface has ben removed and the new traffic signals have been installed but surfacing and lining works which were due to be completed today have been delayed.
Work began in October to replace the mini-roundabout at the Stoney Haggs Road/Scarborough Road/Pasture Lane junction with traffic lights but problems sourcing the signalling equipment meant the works were then postponed until January.
The council has apologised for any inconvenience.
