Scarborough based Proudfoot have helped restock the team's medical supplies.
Scarborough and Ryedale Mountain Rescue team asked for assistance in raising funds to restock their medical rucksacks at the start of the month.
Now following a donation from Proudfoot Supermarkets 'Making a difference locally' scheme and a number of individual donations the team say they have raised enough money to restock the vital lifesaving kit.
"Thanks to a significant donation of £1000 from Proudfoot Supermarkets via the Making A Difference Locally scheme and a number of individual donations we have significantly exceeded the sum we were asking for.
This means that we can not only restock the medical rucksacks but also ensure team members medical kits are complete for, at least, the rest of the financial year.
Many thanks for the generosity to all who gave so freely. You are truly helping us 'save lives in wild"
