A popular Scarborough Boxing Day tradition returns with hopes for a big crowd to look on.
It's the 51st year of the Scarborough Boxing Day Raft Race.
Yorkshire BID have sponsored the event and hopes are high for an increased crowd after improved weather from last year.
Nearby, the annual Fishermen v Firemen football match on the beach takes place- that tradition has been going since 1893.
