The retailer says the store will close in February.
Next Retail has confirmed that it will be closing it's Next Home Store on Seamer Road in Scarborough on February 4th.
The company has not released any further information about the decision simply saying:
"We can confirm that our Scarborough Home store will cease trade on the 4th February."
Staff at the store were told of the closure earlier this week and were reported to be "gutted" and "heartbroken"
The companies clothing store in the Brunswick Center is not affected by the news.
Next recently rescued collapsed fashion retailer Joules with a £34m cash rescue deal that preserves most of its stores and jobs. Under the deal Next will pick up 100 of its 132 stores and only 133 of 1,600 staff will lose their jobs.
