Scarborough MP Says The Law is Clear on Pavement Cycling

MP Robert Goodwill was Cycling Minister in 2015 and says the regulations are very clear.

Scarborough's MP says the law is clear and cyclists should not be using the footpath on Marine Drive.

A debate about the path erupted on social media after a number of pedestrians reported that they didn't feel safe on the path because of the number of cyclist using it.

Cyclist said they didn't feel safe on the cobbled bit of the road

Scarborough and Whitby MP Robert Goodwill was cycling Minister when working at the department of Transport, he says the law is clear on the issue.

Mr Goodwill says he's had a number of complaints from constituents about pavement cycling
