A Scarborough home raised over £450 following their very successful summer fair.
MHA Priceholme managed to raise £460.95 in just two hours thanks to the support and generosity of their community.
The summer fair was an indoor and outdoor event and was attended by more than 40 people.
There was something for everyone, with games, stalls and a raffle to keep guests entertained.
The funds raised will go towards the homes amenities fund, and the plan is to arrange some trips for the residents.
MHA Priceholme provides residential care for up to 32 residents.
George Robinson, activities coordinator said:
“Our summer fair was a great event and one that we are all very proud of here at MHA Priceholme.
“It was a real team effort, everyone got involved, which was lovely to see.
“There were plenty of stalls and activities for everyone, and the icing on the cake was the singing which was done by our administration manager Martha.
“The weather was glorious which always helps and it was nice to see so many come to visit us.
“Our residents and their loved ones had a great time, and we received some lovely feedback, saying how much they enjoyed the day.
“The money raised will go towards our amenities fund and we are planning some trips out for the residents.
“On behalf of the home. I want everyone who supported us on the day, their support is highly appreciated.”
