Scarborough-based Dale Power Solutions has opened a significantly larger, purpose-built facility in St Albans to serve as a strategic hub for its commercial power supply division across the South of England.
Scarborough-based Dale Power Solutions has announced the opening of a new, expanded site at the North Orbital Business Park in St Albans.
The move marks a significant milestone in the continued growth of the company's commercial Uninterruptible Power Supply division as it expands its footprint from the Yorkshire Coast into the south of the country.
Following sustained success within the division and an increasing demand across key sectors, the commercial operations are now officially based at the new St Albans location. The company states that the site is substantially larger than their previous premises on the same estate, and has been specifically developed to support both current operations and future growth across the South of England.
The new St Albans base has been designed as a dedicated product and service hub for the commercial division. It features a purpose-built showroom, which allows customers and partners to view equipment first-hand and engage in practical product demonstrations.
The facility also includes modern meeting and collaboration spaces designed to foster teamwork.
In addition to supporting the commercial team, the site will be heavily utilised by the company's nationwide service division, which consists of more than eighty-five engineers. The firm says this integrated approach will enable closer collaboration between engineering, service, and customer-facing teams.
According to Dale Power Solutions, this setup strengthens their ability to deliver responsive, high-quality support throughout the full lifecycle of a power solution. This ranges from initial specification and installation through to ongoing maintenance and service.
The southern expansion reflects the expertise and dedication of the Scarborough team, who continue to support a wide range of critical sectors, including water infrastructure and commercial office environments.
Highlighting their recent work, the company shared details of a complex water sector project where the team designed a solution to align with increasingly stringent environmental and compliance requirements associated with AMP8.
The installation was complicated by limited access to a newly constructed electrical room, requiring the engineering team to use scissor lifts to carefully raise the power systems through a floor opening.
In commercial office environments, the company's solutions play a vital role in protecting business-critical systems. This includes supporting emergency lighting, lifts, motors, and other essential services where power continuity is crucial for safety, operational resilience, and regulatory compliance.
A spokesperson for Dale Power Solutions said:
"As Dale Power Solutions continues to expand its footprint, the new St Albans base establishes a strategic Southern hub that strengthens our presence across the South of England. With enhanced facilities, closer collaboration between divisions, and capacity for future growth, we are well positioned to support increasing demand for resilient power solutions in critical sectors."
