Scarborough Athletic Football Club have launched a new initiative designed to help ease loneliness and isolation in the area.
The club says, do you know somebody who is feeling lonely, isolated and would benefit from attending a game at the Flamingo Land Stadium?
They are wanting to reach out to members of our community who might be struggling to get to a game either through missing the close support from family due to Covid 19 restrictions, difficulty in physically getting to a game or need that extra bit of support to get out. If this sounds familiar, and you know someone who might benefit from watching a match at the Stadium, they would like to hear from you.
For more information, you can contact the club's Community Director Steve Machen via email steve.machen@scarboroughathletic.com or call/message on 07483843107.
