Scarborough Athletic travel to newly promoted Hednesford Town this Saturday as they look to recover from an opening day defeat.
Scarborough Athletic will head on the road this Saturday to face newly promoted Hednesford Town, aiming to secure their first points of the new campaign.
The weekend fixture offers an immediate opportunity to bounce back following a narrow one-nil opening day defeat at the hands of South Shields.
Despite the initial setback, the squad's overall performance has provided plenty of encouragement for the upcoming away trip.
Speaking to SAFC TV, just after full-time, Boro boss Jono Greening highlighted that there are lots of positives from the South Shields game to carry forward into the clash with Hednesford:
"Yeah, definitely, yeah. I just said that to the players, you know, they need to rest up now, but be confident and be proud because they played really well today and they've come back really fit, standard of the training's being really good, and we need to keep that standard high in training to keep getting the performance like we did today, obviously, without the result."
Kick off is 3pm.
