Scarborough Athletic are set to unveil their new home kit on Saturday during an afternoon event at The Tow Bar, as the club prepares for a return to the Scarborough Sports Village.
Scarborough Athletic are set to officially launch their new home kit on Saturday.
The Seadogs are currently looking forward to a much-anticipated return to the Scarborough Sports Village for the coming season, with preparations now well underway both on and off the pitch.
As part of the build-up to the new campaign, fans and club officials are preparing for a special afternoon event to unveil the new design.
The launch is scheduled to take place at the Tow Bar, Cayton Bay, providing supporters with an opportunity to see the team's new look ahead of their return to action.
The event begins at midday with DJ Griff before live music from Paul & Nancy Tilley at 2pm.
The home kit is revealed at 3pm with home shirts going on sale shorlty afterwards.
The live music continues with DJ Griff and Paul & Nancy, before Seaside Danny Wilde at 8pm.
The home kit will also be revealed online (social media and website) on Saturday, and then be available to purchase via the Pro:Direct club shop on Sunday 21st June.
Scarborough Athletic Chairman Trevor Bull has expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming launch, noting that he is looking forward to the afternoon at the popular local venue.
The event is expected to draw a crowd, with members of the playing squad scheduled to attend in person to showcase the new design to the supporters.
The club has already been busy behind the scenes this week, conducting promotional photo shoots with the players dressed in the new gear.
While the home kit launch the main event on Saturday afternoon, the club is also drumming up excitement for the new away strip, which will be launched at Scholars Bar on Friday 3rd July.
Speaking ahead of the kit launch, Trevor said:
"The guys up at the Tow Bar are looking forward to the event. It makes it a very busy day for them, so looking forward to that, and we've got some of the players coming over to model the kit etc, so that creates a bit more excitement. But I'm very excited about both kits, home and away. The home kit there's a lot of red in it, I'll tell you that. Probably out of the two kits, I'm more excited about the away kit than the home kit, but both of them will be equally stylish. We've been taking the photographs this week of the players in them, and it looks great."
