Scarborough Athletic Prepare For Darlington Trip Following Five-Goal Thriller

Scarborough Athletic will travel to Darlington on Bank Holiday Monday, aiming to build on their emphatic weekend victory as summer signing Luke Hall praises the club's culture.

A Bank Holiday Monday trip to Darlington awaits Scarborough Athletic in the National North.

The Seadogs will be hoping to carry their momentum forward after securing a dominant 5-1 thumping of Southport on Saturday.

A strong culture and high standards are driving the positive atmosphere at the club both on and off the pitch.

Summer signing Luke Hall says he is already loving his time with the squad, praising the management for their approach to recruitment and for building a cohesive team:

"I'm loving it. It's definitely the most I've enjoyed my football in quite a few years, even in such a short space of time. I think that says a lot about the club and the staff and the gaffer and everyone involved really and the players, it's such a good group, so it's hard not to enjoy. I think it's just the culture around the place and the fanbase and the way the gaffer likes things being run and the standards that are set and ultimately you could sign 12-15 players that are really good footballers, but if they're not good personalities and they don't gel well, then you're not going to get much out of any individual, so I think it's just hats off to the club and the management for setting the standards the way they want to set them and recruiting the way they have done."

You can hear more from Luke Hall on the latest edition of the Seadogs Podcast.

Kick off on Bank Holiday Monday is 3pm.
