Scarborough Athletic Face Lancashire Test

The Seadogs go to fifth-placed Radcliffe on Tuesday night as they target a top-seven return in National North.

Boro lost 2-0 at home to Kidderminster Harriers, who are fourth, at the Mounting Systems Stadium, on Saturday.

The result dropped the Seadogs out of the play-offs, which involve clubs down to seventh in the division.

Boss Jono Greening told Paddy, after that game, his side need to bounce back quickly when they head to the North West on Tuesday:

"Yeah, we'll have to go again and I just said to the players there, we need to rest and recover. There's been a lot of games recently. Hopefully they can do that and they don't work too hard on Monday and Tuesday at work. And yeah, we go to Radcliffe and for sure, Radcliffe, the pitch is always really good.

"There'll be no excuses about passing the ball or controlling the ball on Tuesday. And so yeah, we keep fighting to try and stay in them play-off positions like we always do."

Greening is also hopeful that after being forced to substitute Michael Duckworth, at the weekend, that there's no other new knocks to deal with:

"Yeah, I think the rest of the squad's all right. Got a few knocks and bruises, which is to be expected, but I think Duckie will be out for a while. He seems to have done some, like I said, his groin, on top of his thigh or something. He knew straight away as soon as he did it, so we had to bring him off.

"So I don't know how long he's going to be. We'll have to reassess that during the week, but I think everyone else is fine."

Kick-off on Tuesday is 7.45pm with live commentary on This Is The Coast Extra.
