Scarborough Athletic Could Face Points Deduction

Scarborough Athletic could be fined or face a points deduction after incidents at the game against Darlington at the new year.

Verbal misogynistic abuse was directed at the assistant referee and an object was thrown onto the pitch.

Boro Chairman Trevor Bull is frustrated.

A Scarborough supporter has been given an indefinite ban from the Flamingo Land stadium following the disruption to the new year game against Darlington.

The game was stopped for 40 minutes after abuse was shouted at the assistant referee from both sets of spectators and items thrown on to the pitch.

Boro Chairman Trevor Bull says the FA could now issue the club with fine or a points deduction.
