Snainton Golf will become Boro's new 'front of home shirt' sponsor in a 3-year deal beginning at the start of the new season.
In a statement released this evening, Scarborough Athletic said:
The club would like to thank our current front of shirt sponsor One Stop - Wilson Retail Ltd for their incredible support, having supported the club since our return to Scarborough in 2017 and front of home shirt sponsor since the 2019/20 season. We are looking forward to continuing our relationship through different sponsorship avenues with One Stop - Wilson Retail Ltd and we are grateful for their continued backing.
Snainton Golf have supported the club for several seasons and we are looking forward to working closer with them. They are the UK's leading online golf retailer operating from Snainton, where they also have a golf shop, driving range and golf course. We would like to thank them for their support.
Speaking about the exciting new deal, owner of Snainton Golf John Hinchliffe said:
"The whole team here at Snainton Golf are delighted to be the front of shirt sponsor, many of our staff support the Boro and there is a real buzz about this coming season, Up the Boro!"
After a difficult season playing home games down the coast in Bridlington, this news will no doubt be a huge boost for the club financially.
On the pitch, it's a huge weekend for the club, with fixtures against two playoff rivals on Good Friday and Easter Monday.
In a battle for the play-off places the Seadogs will take on Darlington at Blackwell Meadows. Picking up another point at home on Saturday, Boro will be looking to get back to winning ways and further cement themselves inside the play-offs.
It is all to play for in a 6th v 7th battle, with the Quakers just 2 points ahead of Boro, but with a game in hand. Darlington have had a good season, similar to the Seadogs, picking up some great results along the way.
In their last 5 matches, the Quakers have secured 3 wins and 2 losses. With their most recent results being a 4-1 defeat away to AFC Fylde and 2-0 home defeat to Kidderminster, they will be looking to get back to winning ways.
When the two sides last met at Bridlington, it was a 1-0 Boxing Day defeat for the Boro, in an intense game it was Toby Lees who scored the only goal of the game. When the Seadogs last visited Blackwell Meadows under thick fog, the hosts got the deserved win in a 4-3 action packed game.

Big crowds are expected for Darlington V Scarborough on Friday at 3:00pm with fans encouraged to purchase tickets online in advance to guarantee entry.
On Easter Monday, Boro host Spennymoor Town at the Mounting Systems Stadium, Bridlington. Kick off is also 3pm.
