Farmers on the Yorkshire Coast could be facing a shortage of straw this winter.
Scarborough and Whitby MP, Sir Robert Goodwill, raised the issue in the House of Commons this week.
Mr Goodwill is a farmer himself with a family plot in Ryedale.
He asked the Secretary of State for the Environment, what the government is doing about the problem:
