Santa has arrived in Scarborough marking the start of the town's annual festivities.
He arrived by boat before taking the Sleigh through the town to his traditional residence at Boyes, where Store Manager Chris Golder will be waiting with excitement....

Chris says there will be plenty of opportunity to see Santa along the route on Saturday.
Santa is expected to arrive at Boyes at around midday.
This is the Coast will be at the harbour to welcome Santa ashore. He will be welcomed by Paddy and the Coast Crew along with Rover the Reporter.

Boyes will also be showing off their Christmas Window
Santa's grotto at Boyes will be open Thursday & Friday 1pm-5pm, Saturday 10am-5pm, Sunday 10.30am-12.30pm & 1pm-3.30pm
Entry to the grotto is free. A gift from Santa is £3 (for children up to 10 years). Booking is not needed.
