The ladies of Village Hands, Brompton were presented with a cheque for £250 to help them to buy more materials, fabric, wool etc.
Village Hands were nominated for a donation through Proudfoot's MADL Charities recent “Little Act of Kindness” funding giveaway and they won.
The group formed in 2017, offers an “open to all” craft group to encourage social contact and make items of their own choice, to donate to local charitable requests.
Jackie Gray commented:
“I didn’t believe it when Proudfoot contacted me to give us the news that we had won. I couldn’t wait to tell the team"
Valerie Aston, Proudfoot Director, said:
“We were so pleased that this donation will help the group to buy more materials to continue their amazing support of those in need."
